Boy, Oh Boy, OH BOY!!!???

WHAT???  Are you serious?  That's what I was thinking as I read the expression on my doctor's face.  Just then the tears and emotions started.  I'm going to have another boy.  It was tough to hear at first as I had not mentally prepared myself for a boy.  With my two other boys, I had pretty vivid dreams where I knew I was going to have a boy.

This one was different.  I had dreams that the little one inside me was a girl.  My husband and I would be at stores and always look at the little girl clothes and how cute she would look in some of the outfits.  My one Aunt even went as far as buying some little socks that look like ballerina shoes and some tu-tu's.  My husband would always say, don't jinx it, it may be a boy.  But I was so sure that it was a girl.  Being pregnant, you get that 6th sense and even seem to have a little ESPN.

Well reality set in and I am excited to meet my new little man.  The doctor said he was healthy and growing great and weighs a whopping 8 oz.  He is sitting breached now, so I hope he flops his little butt over.

One benefit to having another boy is that I already have everything I need.  Toys, clothes and shoes etc.....will be no problem.  The wardrobes for the seasons even line up perfectly as our little boy is due on his brothers birthday in October.

So here we go, 4 maniacs and 1 queen!!

I guess it's meant to be.

Aww, congrats Mama! I have to say that I feel that would happen to me in reverse - another girl. Some people just have it like that.

When I was pregnant with my youngest girl I swore she was a boy, lol. Guess it was wishful thinking that had me convinced!

At least you have all the clothes, toys & goodies you need - what a $$$ saver, lol!

Hope you are doing well & that lil man moves into proper position! Thinking of you!

Oh honey, I feel for you... We were the same way about our third. We KNEW this was our girl and had her entire name picked out. We even told everyone not to buy the baby anything until my midwife told us herself that it was a girl, as to not jinx it.

When we were in the waiting area the day of our BIG ultrasound, I was playing out how amazing it was going to feel to hear those words "It's a girl" this time around. But once we got in there and started with the ultrasound she immediately said, "I hope you held onto your baby clothes".

I hate to admit it but I did feel upset, Not because of the gender really, but because we had all these ideas built up of what "She'd" be like and who "she" would look like...it was very confusing, I thought I KNEW it was a girl.

But by the time we left the office I was already getting excited about my 3rd healthy boy and found a perfect name and middle name soon after.

Emmitt is now 3 months old and I couldn't be more in love! I can't imagine my life without him, It has been so much fun having 3 boys. Life couldn't be any better, I feel that my family just might be complete. Maybe we won't have a girl after all, but we have 3 amazing boys!

Chin up hun!, feel free to email me anytime!

I was SURE that Miss *a* was going to be a boy. We had names picked out and everything. I really think I thought that because I wanted a girl, and was setting myself up just in case. :)

Congrats!

I totally know what you mean about having the feeling that your baby is one sex or the other. Our first baby I just knew was a boy (she's not), the second I knew was a girl (she was), the third I knew was a girl (he's not). It's crazy how we think we know what the sex will be cause it feels so strong in our innermost being...but my record isn't very good! New follower from the hop. Hope you will follow back!
Btw, Congrats!!
