Camping Watkins Glen KOA

Staying at just any campground, is like saying it doesn't matter what hotel you chose when you go on vacation.  Like hotels, campgrounds aren't all the same.  I wouldn't just say hey, I'm going to New York City and pick the cheapest hotel I can find, you never truly know what you're going to get until you walk through the door, and by then, it's to late to find a hotel that might be more to your liking.

When we choose a campground, we take several things into consideration.  First and for most we have to have full hook-up, meaning we have to have water, sewer and electric.  We may not use all of those things while we are there, but I like the thought of being able to use the bathroom in the middle of the night without having to go to the shower house or have to dump it when leaving.  Call me spoiled or a diva, but I'm not going full roughing it, that's just not me.

My preferred campgrounds are KOA's when we try new places, if there is one in the area.  For the most part, they are super clean, very family friendly, and have fun things for the kids to do.  It's always important for the kids to be entertained, and it's nice when I don't have to always come up with the ideas.

There are three different types of KOA's.

KOA Journey campgrounds are conveniently located near the highways and byways of North America and are waiting for you after a long day on the road. KOA Journeys offer long pull-through sites that help make setup fast and easy, have well-lit after-hour check-in service, and offer a robust line of RV supplies. They are great places to unwind and relax before the next leg of your journey.

Whether you're looking for a base camp for exploring the area or a fun place to stay with lots of activities, you'll love our KOA Holiday campgrounds. There's plenty to do at these KOAs, with amenities and services to make your stay memorable, whether it's overnight or for a longer stay. Each KOA Holiday features full service RV sites and KOA Deluxe Cabins with bathrooms. Take a hike, see the locale attractions or enjoy a campfire. It's your holiday!

KOA Resort campgrounds offer a carefree vacation in the great outdoors with plenty of patio RV sites and Deluxe Cabins with linen service. KOA Resorts also have an abundance of activities led by dedicated recreation staff, on-site food service, group meeting space, and so much more. KOA Resorts are all you could want in a vacation destination - all in one place.

While staying in Watkins Glen at the KOA, we had a great time not only exploring the State Park, but also spending time at the campground.  There was plenty of fun things to do and occupy the kids time.

The kids big and small had so much fun on the jumping pillow, giant waterside, the indoor pool with hot tub, and of course the zipline!  They also had two playgrounds a miniature golf course and fun activities lead by the employees.  We had a blast playing kickball with the kids and they love their new tie dyed shirts.  They even have Happy Hour in the store for the ice cream!!

My complaints would be the size of the spots, I like the kids to have room to play in the grass, and there wasn't room for that.  The larger spots were the end spots next to the road.   The bathrooms weren't always clean, now I don't think that was completely the staff's fault, with a variety of people staying there, and quite a few cabins,  I don't know that the non campers know the proper etiquette of a campground.  Another example of this, was people walking through occupied campsites to their cabins.  I stopped 6 people total from walking though mine while I was sitting there.  (Nicely of course)  This bothered me!  My two year old knows not to walk through someone else camping spot.  I know that everyone might not know not to do this, but you have to think, do you walk through some neighbors yard when you are home?  Probably not, it's considered trespassing!  So don't do it in a campground, please!  My other problem with the bathhouses were the size of the showers.  Can we say tiny?  These were the smallest showers I've ever seen at a campground.  I couldn't shave my legs while the water was on.

Overall I would give this campground a 3 out of 5 stars.  If you need a campground to stay in Watkins Glen, it's a good choice, just be ready for the things I mentioned.  This review is my opinion, thoughts and in no way was I asked to do this.  I feel if I'm going to share my thoughts on the campgrounds we chose and pay for, other campers would benefit from hearing a completely honest review.

Happy Camping!

Motivation

Good Monday morning all you pretty people!!! I hope that you had an amazing weekend!  We had a wonderful weekend, spending time as a family.

We all have different motivations as to why we do anything.  Different things motivate us for different reasons, and one motivation might not be the same for all aspects of our lives and the things we do.  I have several motivations as to why I do things.  I thought I would make Monday's, "Motivational Monday"   I will share something every week that motivates me, or something I find that might help motivate you.

Of course my biggest motivator in my life are my boys!  They are the reason I'm running and eating better.  I think about all the things that could take me away from them, and I've decided that I'm going to do what I can to prevent that! (Well the things I can prevent) If choosing to eat better and running is going to make me healthier, I can at least attempt that.

Every night I pray that I live a long healthy life so that I'm here to watch them grow up and to grow old with my amazing husband.  I think about the friends I've had that have been taken from this world too early, and it makes me sad.  I don't want that for anyone!  Life is too short not to enjoy every second you have.  I know that having a milkshake once in a while or 2 slices of pizza isn't going to be what kills me, but if I live the lifestyle of making poor food choices, sitting on my butt and doing nothing, what does that teach my boys?  I not only make the choice I do for myself, but for them.  If they see me choose a piece of fruit over a bag of chips, hopefully they'll make the same choice.  If I sit down at lunch and drink a glass of water, they don't think that they have to something else to drink because water is the better choice.

Last night while watching The Biggest Loser, I thought about the kids on the show.  Did they make themselves that way, or did their parents contribute to their overweight.  I don't think we can blame our children for their mistakes.  If a child is given a donut as a reward for something, who's fault is that?  Of course if that's all they know, that's what they are going to choose.  We as parents are not only responsible for ourselves, but the children we bring into this world.  They learn not only what they are taught, but what they see.  Lead by example!  Taking them outside for a walk, play kickball, teach them to play any sport, even if you are not a sports person, that doesn't mean that they don't have to be.  Give them choices and let them make their own decisions.  If they want to stay inside and play the xbox, I don't see a problem with that as long as they are not sitting on their butt doing it.  Pop in Dance Central and let them shake their booty, and yours too.  They don't care if you look like a goofball and you're not good at it, they see their parent having fun with them!  Exercise doesn't have to be a chore, it can be fun, you just have to make it that way.

By no means am I an expert, or saying that anyone is not raising their children right.  Everyone has their own way of doing things, but we can't blame a child for being overweight, or say that, because their parents are, they are going to be, that's straight up BS, sorry, that's just how I feel.  Make the difference you want to see, right?

Anyhow, share in a comment what motivates you, pin it on pinterest and share your link.  We could all use a motivator, what's yours?

Have a fabulous day!  xoxo

First day of 1st grade

For all you moms out there that have kids heading out to school, I don't know if you're like me, but today I'm doing my "mommy happy dance" as my mother in law calls it.  Do you know what I'm talking about?  The dance we do when our kids go to for the first day after summer break, or when they've done something amazing that makes us super proud.  Don't get me wrong, it's been an amazing summer!  We have done a lot of fun things that I'm going to tell you all about soon, but I was so ready for school to start today!

My Oldest is a 1st grader this year!! It is so hard to believe how fast they grow up.  Summer amazingly flew by!  How is it that it takes so long to get here, but seems like it flies by?  It's not fair, I'm not ready for summer to be over.

Do you all have fun things you do for your little ones or their teacher for the 1st day of school?  I shared a few things last year, but being that we just got back from vacation on Saturday, I didn't do anything fun or exciting this year. I know, shame on me, but I'm sure he'll be fine, and I'll work on a few things the rest of the week, and share them with you.  Here is a sweet wreath for your house, or makes a great teacher gift!

I would love for you to leave me a link in the comments with the fun things you do the first week of school.   Hope you all have an amazing week, and enjoy your little ones, while they are little!

Almond allergy

So friends, if it's not one thing, it's another.  I'd really like to just catch up to life.  I know Peanut allergies are one of the leading allergies in the country.  I have never in my life been allergic to anything, well, until now.

Let's rewind to Friday, July 13th, my grocery shopping days.  I decided that I was going to start eating cleaner, more fruits, veggies, nuts, lean means, etc.  While shopping I picked up a bag of Raw Almonds, no big deal, I've eaten cocoa almonds like they were going out of style, so I didn't think anything of it.  I got home, and popped a handful in my mouth, they weren't great, but they were plain.  Later Friday afternoon, my stomach had the worst pain, I wasn't sure what it was, but passed it off that I would be fine.  I took 4 tums, and went about my evening, they didn't touch it, my stomach hurt for about 6 hours.

Saturday I went about my day, no stomach pain, good thing!  Sunday afternoon I was hungry and eating clean leaves snacks to, nuts, fruits or veggies, so I had a handful of my almonds.  Later in the afternoon I had stomach pain something fierce!  No position, or anything  I did made it go away.  Like Friday it lasted for at least 6 hours.

Monday morning I called the doctors office, I knew something was wrong, but still hadn't put it together.  I went in Tuesday morning, he said it felt like a blockage in my stomach, he wanted me to get a CT to see what it was.  Wednesday morning they called and said it was clear, there was nothing there.   My poor boys, I don't know how I got through getting their dinner on the table.  I sat against the wall balled up and cried it hurt so bad. Wednesday evening I took myself to the Emergency room with the worst pain I've ever felt, mind you I've had three kids!  I would have rather given birth without an epidural than deal with the stomach pain!   They hooked me up to an IV, gave me pain meds and took blood to figure out what was going on, and like the CT, everything was clear, at least the pain meds took away the horrible pain!  I asked about possibly being allergic to Almonds.  The doctor said, "no, if it were an allergic reaction, it would be more skin or breathing related."  I left still unsure of what was wrong.

Calling the Doctor Thursday morning, he was sure it was my gallbladder so he scheduled me a HIDA scan for Friday morning.  I did a lot of research Thursday, the first thing I looked at was that scan.  The HIDA scan injects Nuclear meds into your system.  That threw a red flag for me.  I'm still nursing, I can't have Nucs in my system.  I called the Pediatricians office and they said that I wouldn't be able to feed the baby for 5 days after the test.  Oh, hell no!!!  I would figure out the pain on my own, they weren't putting that poison in my system!  I wasn't going to not be able to feed my sweet boy, and he hates the stored stuff!

I spent the day researching.  Gallbladder was definitely possible.  I would avoid all trigger foods, find home remedies in case I got an attack, and take even better care of myself.  Come on, I eat right, walk/run 4 days a week, there is no way something like a Gallbladder is going to get me down.  I continued researching, talked with Steve about what I ate, and looked into raw almond allergies.  After the trip to the ER, I haven't eaten 1 raw almond, and my stomach is completely fine!  Here is what I found on Raw Almonds:

Raw Almonds

The skin of raw almonds contains enzyme inhibitors which make them difficult to digest, and this can be another source of stomach pain. However, raw almonds have more nutrition than roasted almonds, so many people prefer eating them in their natural state. Soaking the almonds first removes the enzymes. Put 4 cups of almonds and 2 tsp. of salt in enough water to cover, and let them soak for several hours. Drain and allow them to dry for a day.

There should be a warning on Raw Almonds,
May cause Serious Stomach Pain!!!
and you may not be allergic to anything else, but you can be allergic to Raw Almonds!

Hope you all are having a great week!  xoxo

Summer Reading

Good morning friends!!  Hope you all are having an  amazing week! With summer here, I'm starting my reading.  I know I don't read throughout the winter with my shows on, but come summer time, there is plenty of opportunity to read all the books that I've missed.  I started my summer reading last Thursday, and am so in love with the trilogy, I can barely stand myself.  Any time my boys are in bed, I have my nose in my book, or my reader.  I started Thursday with Fifty Shades of Grey, and finished Fifty Shades Darker today.

OMG, those books are HOT!  I've never read anything like that before.  I'm used to Harry Potter and Twilight, and there is no comparison, hands down.  My aunt told me for weeks she had a book she thought I would like, but she never told me what it was.  One day, I heard rumors of who everyone wants to play the roles for the movie, and that's what peeked my interest.  I called her immediately and ask if she had heard of the book, she said, "those are the one's I've been telling you I wanted you to read."  Well heck, I should have listened to her sooner, they were totally worth the read.  I'm trying to slow down and savor the last one since it's the last in the trilogy.  I'm not sure what else I should read this summer.  I really don't have a list of books, or even an idea of what's worth reading.
Since I haven't seen The Help yet, I will probably try and get it read.  I've heard The Hunger Games is wonderful too, but I'm not sure if it's something that tickles my fancy.  With that being said, what are you ready this summer, or what would you recommend?

PGA golfers show the love

Hey all!  Now that schools out, I have the pleasure of spending time with all 3 of my babies all day long!  It really is a pleasure to have them all with me and doing fun and exciting things together.

If you all ever get the opportunity to go to a professional golf tournament, do it!  Last Wednesday, we had the chance to go to the Memorial Tournament here in Columbus, Ohio.  I had never been, and didn't know what to expect, but I am so thankful that we went.  Not only did my oldest get to experience seeing professional athletes at work, but he got the rare opportunity to meet a few of them, and get their autographs.  I don't know how many athletes take the time to autograph stuff for their fans, but quite a few of these guys signed items.  I really do have a new found respect for Golfers.

The boys got autographs from
Webb Simpson

Jason Day

Jay Haas

Rory McIlroy

Baby Diesel was personally handed a ball from Phil Mickelson
and both boys have a new favorite golfer

Rickie Fowler is the sweetest young man!
He took at least 15 mins to sign autographs, not only for the kids, but for the older women.  He even gave the fans the chance to put their arms around him for a photo.  How many professional athletes do that?   Not many.
I think this shows a lot about this up and coming golfer.

I look forward to next years tournament, and for all of the fun things we have planned for our boys this summer.

Happy Happy Birthday!!!

I would like to wish my beautiful sister Brooke and my most adorable oldest son D a very, very Happy Birthday.

I remember when they were both born, almost like it was yesterday!  I know I love them sharing a birthday together too, I think it was a blessing.  It is funny how similar they are, I guess it's a gemini thing.

I can't believe how time has flown by!  It just seems like he was born, now he's finishing his first year of school, and is turning out to be such an amazing little guy.

He finished his first 5K this past weekend in 42 mins.  I think that's pretty awesome for a little guy.  I couldn't have been prouder of him.

I look forward to the years to come and wish they could just stay little forever!

Isn't she beautiful?!  I hope you have a wonderful birthday filled with all the beautiful things you deserve.  I am so glad you live near us now so that my boys have their aunt.  You have become such an amazing woman, and we are so proud of you!  As you say, "YOLO"  don't forget it, and make it AWE-MAZING!

Happy Birthday!!  I love you both, tons and tons! xoxo

Race for the Cure- Columbus

Hey all, so tomorrow's the day I've been practicing for since January!  The Columbus Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
It's my first race, and I can't imagine a better one to start with.  If you all don't know why this race is so dear to my heart, then you'll have to start here.

I went to see my beautiful friend Wendy on Wednesday, while at Chemo.  She is such a strong woman!
Even with needles in her arm, bruises from blown veins, and knowing how sick this medicine is about to make her, she has the most beautiful smile!!

All you ladies out there that have fought Cancer are amazing!  I mean truly, they go through things the rest of us can't imagine.  I know if I'm having a bad day, it doesn't compare to Wendy's or anyone else going through the hell of Chemo.  I think of her and know that my days could be a whole lot worse.  She is my inspiration and HERO, as are all of you that are fighting cancer!

Tomorrow, in the mass of 50,000 people, I'm only a small dot trying to help with cancer research.  There is still so much we can all do.  I will post pictures of the race, and the activities.  I think I read that this race in Columbus is the 2nd largest 5K in the country, that's crazy!  I'm so proud to be a part of this, and knowing I'm helping fighting an amazing cause.

If you want to help or just read about Breast Cancer, here is a link.  If you are in the Columbus, Ohio area, check out our local site, or come out and join us!

Have an amazing day!

Happy Mother's Day

Wishing all you moms and mom's to be a day filled with peace, beauty and love!  I know that it's hard to get peace most days, but we can always hope!

A special wish to my mommy!  I wish I was there to celebrate with you!  I love you very much!

In a Funk

Sorry all, my post are few and far between.  I don't know what's gotten into me, I'm in a funk of sorts.  I feel like I'm being swallowed by a black hole, and don't want to drag everyone down with me.  My head feels full, know the feeling?  Though writing does help, I really need to do it more.
I've been spending a lot of time just being with my boys, and very little sitting in front of the computer.  We've been camping

and this past weekend we went to my cousins wedding.  I love my family, you all know that, but it is such a hassle to pack myself and all three boys to go in.  Once everything is done at my house we have the car ride, which even with movies and stuff to play with and a nap, isn't all that fun!  I love being home and visiting with family and having the opportunity to go do things without the boys, but it's still more work being there, than it is just being at my own house.  I have to constantly keep an eye on the boys, nobodies house is kid proof, and I know what they are capable of.  If you take your eye off of the middle one for even just a second, I'll guarantee he's doing something rotten!  I'm not even going to go into detail what he did at my Mother-in-laws over Easter and my Aunt's this past weekend.  Having boys is exhausting!  I wouldn't trade them for the world, but I'm tired!

I don't think the family realizes that the road goes two ways, it's the same distance from my house to theirs as it is, theirs to mine.  It is so much easier for them to pack one bag for themselves, then it is for me to pack all our clothes and stuff for the boys.  Mind you, they don't have any of the "stuff" that is needed for the little one, so we have to bring that all in too.

For those of you that live close to family, thank your blessings that you have them there to help you when you need them, and the ability to go visit for a few hours and then go back to your own house.  It's kind of miserable being away from your family and only seeing them every few months.

I've been trying to run again, not only to lose the baby weight, but also to get ready for the Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure, here in Columbus on the 19th. I'm finally doing my first race, supporting a great cause and one of my best friends Wendy. I figured what better race to start with than one I can show my love and support for Wendy against this terrible illness.  I talk to her often and can't imagine what her or anyone going through chemo is dealing with.  It is truly amazing the fight they give while going through it.  She is my hero, and all of those that decide to fight and not let Cancer beat them, are too!
I'm definitely not in the shape I was, but I'm slowly but surely getting there.  Running also helps to get my head back in a good place.  I can just go out and run, not think about anything except bettering my times, and body.  I push the two little ones, the baby sleeps, and the middle one talks away, that child never stops talking, and he is soooooo funny, you never know what's going to come out of his mouth. Just listening to him puts a smile on my face and helps to be happy!

I really need to get back to blogging regularly, I really miss you all, and love sharing.  I'm hoping in the next few weeks you'll see more and more.  I have a teacher appreciation idea I'm hoping to share tomorrow, and some ideas for a cool birthday party. My oldest is going to be six, I can hardly believe it, so I have a lot to do and get ready for his "surprise" party!  I do post a lot on instagram, and would love to get my instacanv.as/datssocute gallery up.  Check out my pics from our hiking adventure on instagram and some daily pictures, I love my iPhone, and instagram!

Love and Miss you all!  BJ

Shopping frustration

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!  We've been enjoying the weather, and spending a lot of time outside.

I just had to get this off my chest.  I hope it's not just me, but who knows.  I get so frustrated when grocery shopping.  I can't figure out why they set up stores the way they do.  When I grocery shop, I start at the back of the store and move towards the front where the check out is.  With that being said, why in the world do they put eggs and cold stuff like milk and yogurt in the back?  By the time you get to the front, it's no longer cold, and your eggs are probably broken.  It makes no sense what so ever.  Shouldn't that stuff be in the front near the bread and frozen stuff?  Maybe it's just me and I'm in a mood, but it's so dumb!  If I didn't shop with my kids, I could put that stuff in the top, but it still won't be cold if I'm going for a full grocery list.

What are your thoughts?  Do you know why they do that?

Anyway, have a beautiful Sunday!

My favorite new app

For those of you that have access to apps on your phone or other device.  I found an awesome new app that I'm totally loving!!!!

I've just recently REALLY tried losing weight, I decided enough was enough, and I have Easter and a wedding coming up in April and May, so the weight has to go!

It's called Fast Food
It has several fast food restaurants, and so many items with their calories.

I figured out exactly how many calories,( give or take a couple probably) I was eating at all of my favorite restaurants.  It's not that we go out that often, but what I was eating, was soooooo bad. So now when the hubs or boys want to go out for a treat, I can pull up that restaurant and find what would be the less of the evils.

If you have any really good apps, please share them, we would all love to know!

Have a fabulous Weekend!

Here's to 2012!

It's always a sad day when I have to take my Christmas tree and decorations down.  Well, today was the day.  I really would probably leave it up all year round, but then people would A.) think I was crazy, or B.)  Think I was lazy, neither of which is true.  I just love Christmas, and my tree and the whole happy feeling during that time of year.  It's seems the house is full of warmth and love, not saying it's not full of those things any other time, but it's especially true during the time the tree goes up, to the time comes down.

Our beautiful bare tree with the last ornament to come off

The final ornament from the most amazing vacation with my family so far!
2011 was really an amazing year, and am thankful for everyone and everything that filled it!

Here's praying that 2012 be just as amazing!

Christmas Day

Good morning friends!  I hope you all had an amazing Christmas/Holiday!  I know I sure did.  The joy and excitement of Christmas through my boys eyes is all I needed this Holiday season even though it was 5:30 AM.  The look and joy on all of my boys faces made the past few days, even months worth all of the work.  I thought I would share a few pictures from yesterday.

How easy do you think it was to get all 3 to cooperate for this photo before opening presents?
Not too bad, our secret, they opened a few prior to this photo.

My little Space Ranger trying out his new Buzz Lightyear pillow.

This boy has a style all his own.  Love the tie and NY Yankee gear.

Baby's first Christmas.  Hard not to want to put bows on his head.

Finally, who thought a box would have been the most popular thing.
This would have saved a lot of time shopping.
I can hear the post office now, "Anything liquid, fragile or perishable?"
Me: "No."

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and we're wishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Here's to 364 more days until Christmas!!!

Old Sneakers reused!

Do you have old sneakers laying around your house?  Or are you going to with Christmas around the corner?  I know I have at least 3 pairs.  Horrible, I know!  I hate throwing them away unless they have holes in them.  When I started running, I began wearing shoes out, but they still are in a good enough condition not to throw them away.  I hate taking shoes to Goodwill and people having to buy them.  So I was looking around this morning and found that Nike reuses them to make some cool stuff for reuse.
Like these
and these
I know if I found a playground with these soft surfaces, I wouldn't have to worry so much about my destructive little guys getting hurt!

Thanks to Nike and other cool places like them, we can recycle our old sneakers, and know they go to a good, safe place!

Check out the website here

Have a great day! BJ

It's the most wonderful time of the year

I love Christmas time, it's my favorite time of the year, and has been as long as I can remember.  I love December for that matter, maybe because my birthday is in December, but who knows. One tradition I stick by is putting our Christmas tree up, and all of the decorations when we get back from West Virginia for Thanksgiving.  When I was a kid, it was always on Black Friday, but given we aren't home that day, it's whenever we get back.  Anyway, this year was very interesting.  Seeing everything new through Baby Diesel's eyes, brings joy to my heart.  He got excited from the moment we took the boxes out of the basement, until we lit everything up.  Each time a box would open, he loved whatever was in it.  He ooohh'ed and aww'ed over the ornaments, the bows, even the garland.  It was precious!  Here are some pictures of our tree.

Helping daddy
The finished tree

We let the little boys decorate a little tree anyway they want, the ornaments aren't spread out evenly, but it's cute because they did it all by themselves.
Little man was the biggest help, he stayed out of the way.
I can't wait to see his excitement next year.
Of course Da Freakout had to pimp, sad to say the glasses didn't make it much longer after this picture, baby Diesel destroyed them.

So far we only have lost two ornaments, one brand new one that never even made it to the tree, and a bulb, that was mistaken for a ball.  All in all, I look forward for the month to come.  It is the most wonderful time of the year!

Hope you all have an Amazing December, and I look forward to seeing your month of celebration.

Happy Holidays!  Love, BJ

Best Movie Ever

Okay, so I'm having one of those days where I'm having brain farts.  I wasn't real sure what to share, my head is so full of stuff I couldn't pick one thing, so this morning I thought I would participate in the Writing Prompts over at FTLOB.  It's perfect for those days when you need a little boost!  This weeks prompt is movies.  I have so many favorite movies that I thought I would share just a couple.  I would say they are the best movies ever!

First up Sweet Home Alabama.  I love Reese Witherspoon, she is an amazing actress, I don't know if there are any movies that she's in that I don't like.
Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore, they both get two thumbs up.  These movies make me laugh so hard I could cry.  Adam Sandler is my top male actor.  He is hilarious and is great in every movie I have ever seen.

SUPERSTAR!  Holy moly, If you have never seen this movie, go out and rent it this weekend, or tonight if you can.  Molly Shannon and Will Ferrell are superbly funny! It actually has a great story to it, with a lesson.  It's a good one for young girls. (The story that is)
Cruel Intentions would definitely be at the top of my favorites list.  The young love of Reese and Ryan is so sexy.  It's a true shame they didn't make it.  It's crazy watching this movie now with these actors so young in the movie.  Reese was an amazing actress even early in her career.

My list of movie could ramble on and on.  These movies don't need a lot of words to say how amazing they are.  I love each one of them and would highly recommend each one of them.  I can't say there has been any "new" movies that I would compare to these, but there could be one out there.
